Tactrix openport 2.0 manufacturer3/2/2024 I have close to 0 knowledge on cars, specially electric ones when it comes to how they operate so my apologies. My car was in their shop for a total of 5-6 weeks so you can imagine my level of trust for something that doesn’t take that long to get fixed. I don’t know how to validate if they really put a new battery or just charged me money for it and did nothing. After getting the 12v battery replaced with a new one (or so they say they did), the message is still present. They offered me replacing the 12V battery for $150, and I said “ok” since the car has been all this time still with the original 12V battery and I imagined that after 6 yrs, and after reading this forum, it might be the cause of it. ![]() I had the original 12V battery but never had any battery issues until the mechanic put their hands on my car. The disconnected the plug of the HV, maybe they left it disconnected for hours or days (who knows) and after fixing the A/C (o-ring replacements) the dash now shows the beloved HV system workshop message. I took my 2016 EV smart forTwo to a local shop that apparently they had no clue what they were doing. ![]() I have been reading these posts for a few weeks now.
